Nana Mizuki Phantom Minds
29-year-old Nana Mizuki has become the first voice actor (voice of characters) with a CD single # 1 hit single in Japan Oricon weekly. Mizuki 21st single, “Phantom Minds,” sold 54,000 copies in its debut week last week. No other voice actor has ranked as high as Oricon began to place their cards in January 1968. “Minds ghost” is the theme song for Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha The Movie 1st Anime, where Mizuki reprises the character Fate Testarossa. This remake of the film Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha anime television will open in Japan on Jan. 23.
Mizuki Diamond Ultimate # 1 arrived in June this year – another record for a voice actor – but in the Oricon weekly album charts. With “The Phantom Minds’” # 1 ranking, beat Mizuki own previous record high # 2, she earned her first “song Eternal Blaze” in 2005. His “Shinai” song debuted at # 2 on the weekly singles chart with 42,630 copies in January, and 2008’s “Trickster” Similarly only reached # 2 with a high staff 57,201 copies. Last month, Mizuki debuted on Kohaku Uta Gassen (Red and White Song Battle), the year-end contest singing that is Japan’s most watched television program of music. Read more
